The bottom line is that if you are sending out many applications and you are not being shortlisted, it is likely that your documents are not working effectively.  Many clients have a resume that is outdated in content or formatting but more importantly, it just doesn't sell them well enough.  There is a lot more to writing a resume than listing all your information under different headings.
